Hack the Gap: Why you should get involved

By tessa on April 14, 2016

Hack the Gap is a female hack-a-thon founded by Jenna Pederson and Kristen Womack. Hack the Gap is going on it’s second year and will be hosted at Clockwork, an interactive design & technology agency in Minneapolis on May 14th & 15th. I had the opportunity to speak to Jenna recently and she convinced me to participate. I think it’s important that women be involved in technology and help create awareness that we are a minority when it comes to the tech world.

Reasons to get involved:

  • Meet Other Great Women
  • Writing Code is Cool
  • Support Sponsors & their Cause
  • Check Out Clockwork’s Awesome Space
  • Meet Jenna & Kristen (they are WAY cool)
  • Win Awesome Prizes
  • Stand Up For Women in Tech

Want to get involved too? Check out this page for more information: http://www.hackthegap.com/how-to-help/
